AGENDA, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

Students will:

•     Master the home, bottom and top row keys
•     Demonstrate correct finger positioning and proper keyboarding technique
•     Practice Numeric Keypad

Remember to demonstrate proper keyboarding technique.  Fingers curved - on the home row.  Feet flat on the floor.  Elbows above the table.  Sit up straight, but comfortably.  DO NOT RUSH!  Please show the substitute how well you can type!

1.  Click Numeric icon (Practice Numeric Tutor) above the keyboarding diagram.
     Refer to diagram for home row placement on numeric keypad.
     Click numeric keypad and complete lesson twice.

2.  Click icon that looks like a stop watch - test your typing speed
     Take test three times - increasing your speed each time


3.  Click dice icon  - this will take you to some games
     Play the Balloon, Paratrooper, and Chameleon Games several times.

    Complete this lesson 5 times - trying to improve your speed each time.
